Eugene was great! My 16-year-old son and I had an amazing time fishing and learned a lot about Mobile Bay along the way. If you’re thinking about taking an introductory two-hour fishing trip, I highly recommend booking with Eugene.

We had a great time on our three-hour excursion! I highly recommend Eugene as a fishing charter captain. He was extremely helpful with the kids and went out of his way to make sure we caught fish and had a wonderful experience. Book the three-hour trip if you want plenty of time to reel them in!

My wife, our 5- and 4-year-old daughters, and I had a great time on a three-hour trip to one of the rigs. We caught several 12–15 inch snapper, one keeper, and a Spanish mackerel. It was a lot of fun, and the captain was fantastic with the girls!

My son and I went on an offshore morning fishing trip. The water was a bit choppy, but the sun broke through, and the weather turned out beautiful. Eugene and Wanda took us to two oil rigs, the second about 15 miles offshore. Eugene beat the crowd to the spot, and we were lucky enough to catch five red snapper and one gray snapper. They were both very knowledgeable and easygoing guides — we’d go with them again in a heartbeat!

I highly recommend Captain Gene! He and Rich made our first fishing experience truly unforgettable. We caught several fish, including kings and a bluefish. Both were incredibly knowledgeable and just as excited as we were with every catch. We not only had a great trip but also made two new friends along the way!

Captain Eugene proved to be extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout our entire trip. He expertly navigated challenging waters with the skill of a seasoned professional. Both my wife and son were impressed by the level of attention they received; my wife, in particular, was concerned about potential motion sickness but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't an issue. His mate, Spencer, and I focused on fishing one side of the boat, while Captain Eugene and my son tackled the other side. Both my son and I managed to reel in some nice catches, including Red Snapper, and all three of us thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. If I find myself in the area again, I won't hesitate to seek out this exceptional crew for another fishing adventure!

I took my 10-year-old daughter fishing with Captain Eugene, and she was thrilled about the adventure. Initially, there were concerns about the weather, and Captain Eugene called the day before, offering to reschedule for a calmer day due to the less-than-ideal fishing conditions expected. However, given our vacation schedule, we decided to proceed as planned (weather permitting). Captain Eugene was very accommodating and flexible with his schedule to ensure we had the best possible experience. Although the fishing conditions weren't ideal, as predicted by Captain Eugene, and the fish weren't as active as we hoped, we did manage to hook a sizable Kingfish! It made the trip worthwhile, and my daughter had an amazing time helping to reel in the big catch. I would definitely book another trip with Captain Eugene on our next vacation. His boat is perfect for 2-4 guests (no more) and provides a personal and private fishing experience. Captain Eugene is also very open to adjusting plans once you've booked, whether it's fishing, sightseeing, or any other activities that come up. I recommend booking your fishing trip early in your vacation so that if there are any weather issues, you have the flexibility to reschedule (pending Captain Eugene's availability). Fish on!

This trip was absolutely phenomenal. It was the first trip for my daughter and me, and Captain Eugene was incredibly accommodating and helpful. He provided us with valuable pre-trip education about what to expect, offered assistance during the trip as we tried fishing for the first time, showed great flexibility throughout the trip, and even helped us with fish filleting and taking pictures afterwards. I would highly recommend a trip with Captain Eugene. Thanks to him, my daughter and I had an incredibly enjoyable experience!
